Mentors

The Leadership Academy utilizes the expertise of current substance use treatment and recovery services professionals to guide and assist in the development of leadership skills among emerging leaders. Each mentee will be paired up with a mentor at the Mentee Immersion training in Denver and will be meeting online monthly from April to September to discuss leadership topics and goals.

Mentors are individually recruited and selected based on demonstrated leadership and management expertise. The four-phase structure for mentors provides support for guiding and cultivating a relationship with a mentee:

• Phase 1: Recruitment of Mentors
• Phase 2: Virtual Mentor Welcome Meeting & Orientation (February 11, 2026)
• Phase 3: Virtual Mentor Training (March 11, 2026)
• Phase 4: Mentor/Mentee Monthly Meetings (April-September) and Mentor Group Monthly Meetings (April -September)
