Six Dimensional Assessment Through The Continuum. 1 -6. Workwise.

ASAM Integration:  Utilizing the ASAM 4th Edition for Level of Care Assessment, Dimensional Admissions Criteria and Transition and Continued Service Criteria

The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Criteria 4th Edition (Adult) is the most widely used and comprehensive set of guidelines for assessment, placement, treatment planning, transition and continued service criteria for clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders.  The ASAM Criteria utilizes a Level of Care  and Treatment Planning assessment with updated six dimensions to form a holistic assessment, level of care recommendations and to monitor progress along the treatment continuum.

This online Enhanced Professional Learning (EPL) interactive series will utilize a case study to demonstrate to participants how to utilize the revised 4th Edition for adults.  Emphasis is placed on applying ASAM Criteria for in-depth assessment, proper placement, treatment planning, continued service and transition/discharge of clients.
